The reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace. Baptism, the Eucharist, and the Sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the
sacraments of Christian initiation. The preparation for Confirmation should lead the Christian toward a more intimate union with Christ to be more capable of assuming the apostolic
responsibilities of Christian life.
Student Confirmation candidates must complete two years of formal education through our Religious Education Program, normally in the 7th grade and 8th grade classes. Confirmation is held in May after the completion of the two years.
